A Long Island City, NY man was charged after a burglary was reported at a tire store in the new Castle area

Delaware State Police identified the man as  Thomas Gordon, 61.

At 11:31 p.m., troopers were called to the  Firestone Complete Auto Care  at 2098 New Castle Avenue after an alarm went off and a large hole was observed in a garage door.
