The other numbers as of Saturday night
• 261 new positive cases, bringing the overall total to 144,298. the seven-day average is 261. During the summer-fall surge, new daily cases had been as high as 460.
• 6.1% of total tests were positive in the 7-day rolling average, unchanged from the previous day.
• 163 current hospitalizations, up 12 from the previous day, including 28 individuals in critical condition. Earlier, hospitalizations had been above 200.
• 10 new hospital admissions, down six from the previous day.
• 659 people who tested negative, bringing the total to 725,775.
• 581,483 people are fully vaccinated, according to the CDC Vaccine Tracker. Based on Delaware’s US 2020 Census figure, 58% of the state’s residents are fully vaccinated.
