Fans of the Mini in Delaware now have a shorter drive to the dealership.

In early spring, the long-time BMW dealer moved from a location in Exton to its BMW dealership on West Chester Pike. A new Mini showroom is expected to be completed this fall.

Otto’s Mini originally opened in the West Chester area 16 years ago before moving to Exton in 2011. Mini is owned by BMW and has carved out a niche among drivers who like its distinctive British  style and performance.

BMW originally insisted on separate dealerships but later allow Mini dealers in existing dealer locations.

Otto’s Mini is owned by the Vadasz family, which entered the Chester County automotive business in 1968 with their BMW dealership, Otto’s BMW.

Both Otto’s BMW and Otto’s MINI have  been a family-owned and operated company for three generations and have not become a part of dealer groups that are now commonplace in the Delaware Valley for luxury and budget auto brands.
