WSFS Bank  announced the winners of the 6th Annual Pet Photo Contest. The “Best in Show”, “Most Personality” and “Kids & Pets” categories were chosen by a panel of judges from the Delaware Humane Association, and the “Online Popular Vote” was selected by the highest number of votes through the website.

Participants were encouraged to vote for their favorite pet photos once per day during the contest period. Winners can be viewed online by visiting www.wsfspetcontest.com or viewing the gallery above.

“The 6th Annual Pet Photo Contest was another great success with many photo submissions from a wide array of pets including dogs, cats, horses and even pigs,” said Rick Wright, executive vice president and chief retail banking officer. “Connecting with our customers and community friends in this unique way, while also supporting the Delaware Humane Association, is always such a great experience for us all.”

The “Best in Show” winner was Austin, a 4-year old American Bulldog and Pit Bull mix submitted by Deanne Bell of Wilmington, Del. Kim Gold of Wilmington, Del. and her 2- year old Boxer, Daisy, were the winners of the “Most Personality” category, while Titan, a 3-year old Great Dane and his playmate submitted by Maricia Snavely of Newark, took home the first place in “Kids & Pets.” The “Online Popular Vote” winner was Tank, a 4-year old Bullmastiff from Wilmington, Del. submitted by Robin W. C. Rusnak. Winners each received a $250 Concord Pet Foods & Supplies gift card.

In addition, WSFS Bank donated $2,500 to the Delaware Humane Association to help them further their mission to act as a voice for companion animals and to enhance their welfare by providing temporary shelter, spay/neuter services, humane education programs and adoption/placement resources.
