Junior Achievement of Delaware has launched a Capability Campaign.

Carol Ammon, retired CEO of Endo Pharmaceuticals, is now also serving as the chairperson of a five-year JA Capability Campaign that was publicly launched last month after a 12-month quiet phase.

The campaign was announced at the Delaware Business Leaders Hall of Fame late last month.

“Junior Achievement takes a proactive approach to combating poverty, high dropout rates, and other social ills that interfere with young people achieving the American Dream,” says Ammon, “Its message is one of self-sufficiency, entrepreneurial opportunity, personal responsibility and sustainability.”

The JA Capability Campaign is focused on a “deliberate delivery system disruption and redesign to keep JA experiences relevant for students, educators, and employers; to meet operating performance standards to maintain JA of Delaware’s charter from the parent organization, Junior Achievement USA; to address capital improvement needs of its experiential learning facility; and to expand the depth of its impact on local workforce and economic development.”
