Ernst & Young LLP announced the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2013 Award winners in Maryland. Frank Gunion, founder of east coast fashion retailer, South Moon Under, won in the retail and consumer products category.

The award recognizes outstanding high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Gunion is the founder of popular fashion store, South Moon Under, which was founded as a small surf shack in the summer of 1968 in Ocean City, Md.

The swim suit and fashion retailer has grown to 20 stores that include locations in Rehoboth Beach and Christiana Mall. The Entrepreneur Of The Year Program has honored the inspirational leadership of many leading business founders. Story from citybizlist.com.
