New Castle County Police are investigating the Tuesday death of an individual who perished in a farming accident near Hockessin.
Tuesday morning, officers found a 49-year-old man pinned under a hay bale. Despite resuscitation efforts, the man died from his injuries.
Detectives from the County Police Criminal Investigations Unit and investigators from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are handling the investigation.
The name of the victim has not been released.
