Dash In and Splash In car wash centers have quietly expanded their presence in Delaware.
The company has been razing existing gas station-convenience stores and converting the sites to self-service car washes, gas stations and convenience stores with fresh food items.
The company recently announced the acquisition of Blue Hen Car Washes in north Wilmington and Newark.
On Friday, the company will mark the conversion of a location on Paper Mill Road, Newark and will feature samples of Dash In’s menu with to-go and made-to-order options.
As part of Dash In’s commitment to the local community, the following grants were announced
-$5,000 to be presented to the Food Bank of Delaware to help children and their families.
- – $1,000 to be presented to Newark High School for resources for their teachers and students.
- – $500 to be presented to the Aetna Hose and Hook and Ladder Co.
- Dash Inn has 50 locations in Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware.
The stores and car washes are operated by the Wills Group. Headquartered in La Plata, MD, the Wills Group has 280 retail locations across the Mid-Atlantic region, including Dash In, Splash In ECO Car Wash, and SMO Motor Fuels.
