Vericast is ihiring for more than 250 new positions nationwide this year.
The company has 34 job openings listed at its Newark site. The only site with more openings is San Antonio, Texas, the company’s headquarters. Vericast has a manufacturing (printing) plant in Newark.
The company, whose brands included Valassis, was relaunched in 2020 under the Vericast name. The Newark plant prints circulars and other marketing materials. As retailers and consumers move to digital offerings, Vericast is adding services.
Over half of the total jobs are in engineering, data science, and product development roles created to support the company’s digital marketing technology.

Vericast’s technology investment includes several new and enhanced digital marketing innovations aimed at helping clients improve performance, extend their reach, and retain their customers, a release stated.
The new positions the company seeks to fill this year include on-site and remote jobs throughout the U.S. in data science, engineering, marketing, finance, manufacturing, and sales, among other functions. The company has a workforce of more than 5,000 employees with thousands of clients in many industry areas.
