Highline Warren, a national manufacturer, and distributor of automotive products, opened a new 267,000 square-foot distribution center in Elkton, MD.
The building is located at the Upper Chesapeake Corporate Center, off Route 40 and near the Delaware line.
By the end of 2021, the new facility will bring at least 80 full-time positions. Highline Warren has seen considerable growth over the past several years, leading to strategic investment to support customers in the New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland markets, as well as across the United States, a release stated.
COO Mike Ziomek stated, “This distribution center reflects Highline Warren’s commitment to invest in the business to support strong growth and better serve our Northeast customers. We found great partners in Elkton, Maryland, and McConnell Development.”
McConnell Development working with Bernardon (architect) and ARCO (design-builder), led the project to design and build the Highline Warren facility. Michael McConnell said, “We’re pleased to have successfully delivered the project on schedule despite the challenges of the pandemic, and we’re grateful to the Town of Elkton and Cecil County Economic Development Office for their support and guidance throughout the process.”
Headquartered in Memphis, TN, Highline Warren’s model currently features 25 distribution and manufacturing facilities located across North America.
