A jury in Minneapolis convicted former Police officer Derek Chauvin of murder and manslaughter charges in the death of George Floyd.
Chauvin faced charges related to putting his knee on Floyd’s neck after an incident involving a counterfeit bill at a stop last spring.
The defense claimed that Floyd died from other causes that include a heart condition and drug use.
