After a trip to Rehoboth Beach was cut short, President Joe Biden will spend this weekend at his home near Greenville.

Airspace restrictions are in place through Monday, with the President arriving at the National Guard Base at Wilmington-New Castle Airport at 6 p.m. on Friday.

Last weekend’s trip was cut short when news of an imminent attack by Iran on Israel led Biden to fly back to the White House and meet with the National Security Team.

The attack with drones and missiles did occur, with the Israeli air defense assisted by the US and Jordan downing most of the incoming warheads.

Israel responded with an attack that seemed to be designed to limit the chances of retaliation.

Trips to the Biden homes in Delaware are low-key affairs with no public events.

The visits help fill hotel rooms from traveling staff and news media.

On Friday morning, Biden addressed an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers conference in Washington, DC.
