Wednesday’s Covid-19 dashboard from the Delaware Division of Public Health reported 10 additional deaths.

Eight of the deaths came from a review of vital statistics records during January and February.

Eight of the 10 deaths came from a review of Vital Statistics records from January and February. Of those who died, five were from New Castle County, four were from Sussex, and one resided in Kent.

Those who died ranged in age from their 50s to their 90s, two had no underlying health conditions, and one was a resident of a long-term care facility. Their deaths increased Delaware’s total number of COVID-related deaths to 1,492.

The other numbers:
• 205 new positive cases, bringing the overall total to 88,891. 
• 17.1 percent of people who tested positive in the seven-day rolling average (down one-tenth of a percent from the previous day) and 4.1 percent of total tests were positive in the seven-day rolling average (down one-tenth of a percent from the previous day).
• 95 current hospitalizations (down four from the previous day), including 28 individuals in critical condition.
• 17 new hospital admissions (down 8 from the previous day).
• 1,049 people tested negative, bringing the total to 547,347.
• 286,933 total vaccine doses administered (up 6,890 from the previous day).
