The University of Delaware will allow limited attendance for football and lacrosse games.

Beginning on March 13, Delaware football season, ticket members who purchased tickets can begin attending Delaware Stadium games. Students will also be able to attend, and capacity will be limited to 10 percent for this game.

Updates will be shared for future games. Advance sales have been ongoing, and no in-person, day-of-game sales will be available. All ticket purchasers will receive an email with health & safety instructions and protocols.

Additionally, beginning March 20, the general public can attend Delaware men’s and women’s lacrosse games at Delaware Stadium, with a maximum capacity of 1,000 people. Ticket sales will begin on March 15. Purchasing is only available through advance sales, and no in-person, day-of-game sales will be available.

The limited capacity will allow proper distancing between all guests, and masks covering the nose and mouth are required.

Attendance policies were developed by UD Athletics and the university’s Health Advisory Committee in conjunction with the State of Delaware.

Capacity numbers in other venues limit the number of outside spectators. Here is the chart for the breakdown of each venue.

These updated attendance policies are subject to change based on  Covid-19 metrics.

The university has seen an outbreak of Covid-19, although case totals were down earlier this week.
