Kimberly Markiewicz

DuPont appoints diversity chief

DuPont announced that Kimberly Markiewicz has been appointed Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I). She will report to Darrell Ford, Chief Human Resources Officer.

In this role, Markiewicz will advance DuPont’s global DE&I programs and initiatives to help fuel innovation that leads to business success.

Markiewicz joined DuPont in 1995 as a chemical engineer. Since that time, she has held roles of increasing responsibility in engineering, operations, human resources, and environmental, health and safety. She most recently served as Vice President, Environmental, Health & Safety. She received a BS in chemical engineering from University of Texas.

Cinnaire announces appointments

Cinnaire announced two key appointments in the organization’s MidAtlantic office.

Azeez Weeks has joined the organization as Development Manager for Cinnaire Solutions, a newly created position to advance Cinnaire’s Wilmington Priority City initiatives. Matt Hodges has joined Cinnaire as Vice President, Business Funding, leading the development of equity funds in the MidAtlantic to support Cinnaire’s affordable housing and community redevelopment efforts.

As Development Manager, Weeks will support project management, assist in the development of the Cinnaire Solutions pipeline and provide leadership and guidance to partners in Wilmington. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Delaware.

As Vice President, Business Funding, Hodges is charged with raising equity capital and managing investor relationships for Cinnaire’s MidAtlantic region. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the State University of New York College.

Delaware Botanic Gardens names development director

Ray Sander, President of Delaware Botanic Gardens (DBG) announced that Deb Piper has been hired as the DBG Director of Development.

Delaware Shakespeare elects board members

Delaware Shakespeare elected two new members to the board of directors: Dr. S. Todd Townsend and Marilyn P. Whittington.

Townsend is the Bishop and Senior Pastor at The Resurrection Center. He is an educator and subject matter specialist in the areas of counseling, couple and family therapy, advanced adult education, leadership development, religion/spirituality and clinical studies. He holds two doctorates: one in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University and one in Couple and Family Therapy from Drexel University.

Townsend

Whittington is the emeritus Executive Director of Delaware Humanities. She is an experienced teacher, having taught at Delaware Technical and Community College as well as in Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. She also served at the state and federal level for the U.S. Small Business Administration. In these roles, she acquired experience and perspective for community planning, community vitality, and local community culture. She holds degrees from the University of Delaware, Central Michigan University, and certificate credits from Virginia Tech.

 

Beebe Healthcare VP, Director

Beebe Healthcare announced the appointment of Christina Deidesheimer,  to the position of Vice President of Communications and Outreach, Chief Communications Officer. She currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications and has been with Beebe for three years.

Deidesheimer held leadership positions with organizations including Baxter, LifePoint Health, and Carolinas Healthcare System. She has presented on topics ranging from branding to strategic marketing. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Ohio University and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University.

Beebe Healthcare announced Laurene Roth,  as its new Director of Case Management.

  Roth comes to Beebe Healthcare from Holy Redeemer Health System in Huntington Valley, PA,  where she recently served in the role of Director of Care Coordination. Laurene has a bachelor of arts in Social Work degree from West Chester State University, a master of science in Health Services Administration degree from College of St. Francis and is a Certified Case Manager.

Rick Tilghman

SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate  named Rick Tilghman  Managing Director. Tilghman will oversee all daily operations of Brokerage, Property Management, Maintenance and Business Development. The Salisbury-based company has an office in Seaford.

Tilghman earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation within his first  two years in the business and has earned his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.

=Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors Hockessin Pike Creek Home Marketing Center, named  Danielle Cantler as a sales associate and new member of the Cammy Jamison/Heidi Nequist Team.

The brokerage’s Greenville Home Marketing Center, welcomed Jane Katsnelson as a sales associate. Licensed since 2002, she was formerly with ReMax Edge. She specializes in investment properties and historic homes, and she serves New Castle County.  She is a member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors.  The Christiana office added Yesenia Bahena as a sales associate. She is a member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors and serves  Delaware clients.
