Good afternoon everyone,
News of a FedEx manager pleading guilty to charges related to the long-running theft of $3.6 million in packages from the company’ Seaford terminal topped the list of most-read stories in February for the Delaware Business Now website.
Not far behind was news of a Waffle House coming to the Route 40 (Pulaski Highway) area of Bear, followed by a request from Amazon for $4.5 million as part of the company’s proposal to build a quarter of a billion-dollar distribution center at the former GM Boxwood site near Newport.
It was the second record month in a row for Delaware Business Now in terms of page views and other measurements of traffic. This came during the shortest month of the year and amounts to a 36 percent increase from the same month in 2019.
