The Milton Zombie Fest will rise from the dead and head to the beach next month.
On Monday morning, Milton Theatre announced the event will move to Dewey Beach.
The popular pre-Halloween fund-raiser for the town was initially canceled, due to issues with Milton’s town government. Organizers said the restrictions would sharply increase expenses.
The cancellation led to an outcry among attendees and others who pointed to the event’s popularity and economic impact. Other entities stepped up an offer sites with organizers opting for Dewey.
