Jewish Federation wins communications award


The Jewish Federation of Delaware has received an Award of Excellence in the 2019 APEX Awards in the Category of Campaign, Programs & Plans – Special Purpose, for its 2018-2019 Board & Leadership Manual.

APEX 2019 – the 31st annual awards program recognizing excellence in publishing by professional communications. Awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence.

A total of 1,278 entries were evaluated within 12 major categories including newsletters; magazines, journals, and tabloids; annual reports; print media; electronic media; social media; apps; websites; campaigns, programs and plans; writing; design and illustration; and one-of-a-kind publications.

Katzen, chief executive officer of the Jewish Federation of Delaware stated, “The primary purpose of our Board & Leadership Manual was to inform and inspire our lay leadership who serve as proud ambassadors.
