Used car dealer CarSense plans to open a location in Glen Mills.
The dealership is being built at the former site of the Turf Club on Baltimore Pike about 10 miles from Hockessin and Route 202 at the Delaware line.
Plans filed with Concord Township call for an 11,000 square foot addition to the 32,500 Turf Club building on the eight-acre site. Another 3,200 square foot building will be used for detailing.
CarSense currently has five locations in the Delaware Valley and the Pittsburgh area.
CarSense is known for heavy use of television advertising, a lifetime engine warranty, no haggle pricing and a return policy. CarMax, a large national rival, employs a similar strategy.
