The New York Stock Exchange welcomed Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, Dover in celebration of the contributions of the company’s employees, its 12 straight years of earnings growth and total shareholder return, and more than 25 years of being listed on the NYSE.
[Not a valid template]Recently appointed CEO, Jeff Householder was joined by Chris Taylor, NYSE VP of Listings & Services, in ringing the Opening Bell. Junior Council, an employee with nearly 52 years at the company, participated in the bell ringing.
Over the last ten years, Chesapeake Utilities Corporation has invested over $1.38 billion in capital expenditures. The Company has doubled in its size twice over the past decade.
Since listing on the exchange in early 1993, the Company’s market capitalization has grown from $45 million to approximately $1.5 billion at recent stock prices.
