President Thomas Brackin, Vice President Troy Pezzuto and Board Member Charles Dalton from the Delaware State Troopers Association showed their support for the Coast Guard during the federal shutdown.

The union leaders visited the  U.S Coast Guard Station at  Indian River Inlet along with members of the Delaware State Police Maritime Unit.

The DSTA purchased food for the members of the base from Bethany Blues in Lewes.

With the government shutdown,  members of the Coast Guard Unit have not been receiving pay from the government.

Using funds from the   “Troopers for Troops” program, meals were provided for the entire unit.
