Metro Diner is accepting job applications for its newest Delaware location at 5600 Concord Pike in Delaware.
The Florida chain has moved quickly after seeing success with locations in Ogiletown/Newark and Middletown.
The Concord Pike location will be the third Metro Diner to open in northern Delaware. The diner bring 100 new jobs to the region when it opens in October.
The 4,800-square-foot diner on Concord Pike will seat 103 indoors and out, and serve up comfort food staples like fried chicken and waffles topped with a house-made strawberry butter, and the Holy Davoli Burger – a burger flanked by two grilled cheese sandwiches and topped in a Metro Diner slaw.
Applications to join the Metro Diner team will be accepted now through the October opening for various positions including server, host and kitchen staff. Metro Diner operates 61 locations across the United States, with several more, including its Concord Pike location, in theworks. No opening date has been set.
Most dishes are priced under $15 and servesduring their all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unlike many diners, it is not opened 24-hours a day.
