The Monday Newark City Council meeting that could have resulted in a vote on raising rates for downtown parking was postponed, due to prospects of icy weather.
A special council meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 16, at 7 p.m. to consider the time-sensitive items included on the agenda. All remaining agenda items will be rescheduled for either the January 22 or February Council meetings.
