The Delaware restaurant was well known for years for the  talking moose that overlooked the bar and proved to be a hit with children. Bugaboo featured a Canadian north woods theme and decor  along with a conventional menu of steaks and other items.

Bugaboo emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in 2012, but faced a difficult market that has sent many casual restaurant chains to bankruptcy court. Many  such cases have ended up in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington.

Its  neighbor, Old Country Buffett has had at least a couple of trips to bankruptcy court in the past several years.
