Restoration Hardware has opened a store at the Christiana Town Center, off Route 273.
Restoration Hardware is a high-end retailer of home hardware and other goods. Until now, its stores have been largely confirmed to major metropolitan areas.
The Town Center is owned by Allied Retail Properties, which also operates the nearby Christiana Fashion Center near the mall.

The outlet opened in the former DSW shoe store, which moved to the fast-growing fashion center,
The outlet store makes sense for the high-end home goods supplier which has a large distribution center off Route 40 and Interstate 95 and a , a short drive away from the Town Center.
The company had been adding the outlet stores in high-end outlet centers in locations like Limerick, PA. In all, the outlet side of the company has about 20 stores, with a total of about 90 locatoins.
The Maryland distribution center is the company’s largest.
