Collins to headline DANA conference

The Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (DANA) will host its 2015 Annual Conference “Making Delaware Great” next week. Hundreds of nonprofits will come together on June 15, at the Chase Center on the Riverfront for this much-anticipated conference for nonprofit and business leaders.

The event will feature  best-selling author and management educator, Jim Collins, as the keynote speaker. Check-in opens at 8:00 a.m.,   Collins will take the stage at 9:30, and the event will run until  p.m.

Collins is well known for his book “Good to Great” and the accompanying monograph “Good to Great and the Social Sector.” He will be bringing his  knowledge on the subject of business sustainability and growth, and translating it for the nonprofit sector in Delaware, a release stated.

Approximately 1,000 people from nonprofit, for-profit, and government sectors will be in attendance. Senator Chris Coons and Governor Jack Markell are also scheduled to make appearances. There is limited space remaining. Registration will end at midnight on Wednesday, June, 10th.
