A seven-year-old boy and his lemonade stand — sounds simple enough, but  a boy, named Philip, donated all the proceeds ($55) from his stand to benefit his Aunt Arlissa and her friends at Easter Seals.

After attending his aunt’s 30th birthday party and getting to know her friends from the Easter Seals in Dover, Philip was motivated to give back to them by raising money. “It was Philip’s idea to donate to Easter Seals ‘because that is where Aunt Arlissa goes’,” Philips mom, Leslie, says, quoting her son. “He said he wanted to ‘help her friends that are now my friends’.”

Philip’s donation will support Easter Seals services like the Community Experiences program, where his aunt has attended for nine years.
