Beebe Medical Center announced it it has expanded outpatient health services in Millsboro. The new services include Beebe Walk-In Care, Beebe Imaging and Beebe Lab Express. The services are located in an expanded and modernized building on Route 113 that also houses Mid-Atlantic Family Practice. All services will be available as of June 24.
“This expansion supports Beebe Medical Center’s vision of making Sussex County one of the healthiest counties in the nation,” says Alex Sydnor, vice president of External Affairs for Beebe Medical Center and President and CEO of Beebe Medical Foundation. “We look forward to working together with Mid-Atlantic Family Practice to improve access to health care services. Having Beebe Outpatient Services and Mid-Atlantic Family Practice in one building provides a convenient, one-stop shopping opportunity for our patients.” To celebrate the opening of the modernized building, Beebe Medical Center and Mid-Atlantic Family Practice are holding an open house from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on June 27.
Beebe Walk-In Care will be open in the afternoons on Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and daily Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Health providers will be available to treat patients with a variety of minor issues such as upper respiratory infections, minor injuries and skin problems, and some medication refills.
Beebe Medical Center is in the midst of expanding the outpatient healthcare services that it already offers in Georgetown, Millville and Milton. It is doing this by creating working relationships with local physicians, business owners, developers, and others to build new facilities and to expand existing.
