The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and Internships.com have launched a partnership to provide a platform to connect local students with businesses across the state of Delaware. Internships.com and the Chamber will work together to help inform members about the benefits of experiential education, facilitate internship connections within the community and provide cutting-edge tools and resources to optimize the process of hiring interns, a release stated.
“Partnering with Internships.com is an exciting prospect for the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce,” said President and CEO Joan Verplanck. “We like to provide our interns with valuable experiences, and this partnership will lead to even more value for the next generation of business leaders.”
To support the partnership, Internships.com developed a dedicated microsite accessible to employers and students so they can directly search for and connect with each other for free.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Delaware State Chamber on this initiative,” said Robin D. Richards, CEO of Internships.com. “Internships have become a vital way for employers to recruit talent into their organizations, and this platform is an ideal way to help the chamber facilitate that connection.”
