Kerr named partner

MacElree Harvey, Ltd. announced that Felice Glennon Kerr, an attorney in their Centreville, Del. office, has been named equity partner in the firm.

Felice concentrates her practice on family law including divorce, property division, child support, alimony, custody, prenuptial agreements, settlement agreements, domestic violence and probate litigation. Felice is a trained mediator and handles disputes involving property divisions, alimony, custody, visitation and support.

She is also a trained parenting coordinator. A member of the Delaware State Bar Association and a founding member of the Delaware Parenting Coordination Council, Felice received her law degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1989 and her undergraduate degree from Villanova University in 1986.

Rocanelli nominated

for Superior Court post

Gov. Jack Markell announced his nomination of Judge Andrea L. Rocanelli for appointment to the Superior Court. Rocanelli will be nominated to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Jerome O. Herlihy.

“Judge Rocanelli is recognized for her outstanding contributions to the bench, bar and public,” said Markell. “If confirmed, she will be an excellent addition to the Superior Court of Delaware.”

Since 2009, Rocanelli has served as a judge on the Court of Common Pleas. In addition to adjudicating criminal and civil matters, Rocanelli is responsible for the Court’s Drug Diversion Program in New Castle County. With respect to civil litigation, Judge Rocanelli has focused on the Court’s consumer debt collection actions.
