New Castle County Police have released more details on the events leading up to a slaying  in  Glasgow Court Trailer Park early Sunday morning. The victim was identified as  Michael Leger, 25.

Further investigation by police determined  that the suspect was driving within the complex with no headlights when the car was observed by the victim, while it was in the 100 block of Garnett Street.

Due to his concern for the children who were in the area, the victim yelled to the driver   trying to get him to  turn on  his headlights.

Moments later, a  dispute occurred between the victim and the suspect, before  the suspect fled to  his car as he was making threatening comments. Within minutes, the suspect returned with an accomplice. They confronted the victim. At that time, both suspects assaulted and cut   the victim, who suffered  a fatal wound to his upper body.

Earlier in the week a composite sketch was released of the suspect’s accomplice (passenger). The suspect depicted in the  sketch is described is as a black male who stands  5 feet , 10 inches to 6 feet , 3 inches tall, who weighs about 250 pounds with a stocky build. The vehicle involved is described as a two door boxy type vehicle with a possible unknown Delaware registration.
