There are a lot of skeptics of Fisker  and that’s fine, said Global Communications Director, Roger Ormisher in an interview with the web publication.

“We’re OK with the skeptics because I think they make things more interesting and we continually prove the skeptics wrong. I mean I think they thought we’d be out of business [by now] and that is not the case.”

In the interview Ormisher emphasized that the GM plant near Wilmington remains the best option for the company. The plant is currently mothballed, after a federal loan was suspended. Fisker has gone on to raise capital in the event that the loan is not restored.

Fisker has remained a campaign issue, with critic and Republican Presidential nominee Mitt mentioning  the company in the Monday night debate, with President Obama.
