The scrapple has been back on the shelves in some locations since last week, but where you shop will really depend on if you’ll find Hughes Delaware Maid Scrapple.
Production had been halted by a fire at the Felton plant. Scrapple production began in the new part of the building, but getting it into stores is a gradual process as the larger grocery chains have to make space for it in their cases.
The scrapple has recently been spotted at Acme stores in northern Delaware.

I’m retired, live 1 mile north of Felton and would like to work with you. I have 38 years experience working with production high speed machinery and packaging machinery. I worked for Playtex Products in Dover. My wife and I missed the scrapple!

Hughes Scrapple is available in Bear-Glasgow area.
