Delaware State Police, with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), are investigating more than two dozen handguns being taken from a Greenville outdoor goods store.
The investigation has determined that the incident occurred Friday at 1:40 a.m., as when four male suspects smashed the glass to the front door of the Artemus Outfitters, located at 4021 Kennett Pike.
The suspects then entered the business and proceeded to remove 27 assorted handguns from a display before leaving the store and fleeing in an unknown direction. No video surveillance photos were released.
