The Food Bank of Delaware is holding its seventh annual Blue Jean Ball.This year’s theme is Roaring Twenties. On October, 13, The Food Bank will transform its Newark-area warehouse into a Food Bank-inspired speakeasy space reminiscent of the jazz era. Guests will enjoy an evening of food prepared by the Food Bank’s culinary team, wine and beer and dancing to the sounds of Stranger’s, the area’s newest party band.
Last year.nearly 90 percent of proceeds went directly back to our hunger-relief programs.
These programs include The Culinary School at the Food Bank of Delaware, the Backpack Program, School Pantries, Mobile Pantries, Kid C.H.E.F. and more! The event is slated for Saturday, October 13; from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 14 Garfield Way, Newark, Delaware. Cost is $125 per person.
