Grotto Pizza is expanding into Dover. Construction will begin in September and we are planning an opening in early 2013, according to the chain’s Facebook page.
Grotto will open in the former location of Atlantic Books on DuPont Highway on the northern end of Dover.
Grotto has been gradually expanding to the north of its stronghold on the Delaware beaches and its other cluster of restaurants in northern New Castle County. The company also has restaurants in the Scranton-Wilkes Barre area in Pennsylvania.
