Dewey Beer Company is headed to the Rockies with a new taproom in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood.

Following a pop-up taproom at the Great American Beer Festival in October, Dewey Beer is moving into the former Mockery Brewery space.

Dewey Beer opened in 2015 and began distributing beer in Colorado in 2022 with wholesale partner Colorado Craft Distributors. The brewery’s concept was to connect the beach lifestyle and vibe of the brewery with Colorado’s mountain-outdoor culture. Colorado is a craft brewing hotspot.

Dewey Beer Colorado will offer IPAs, lagers, and fruit smoothie seers, as well as several limited-release beers that will only be served at the brewpub. Once in full operation, the Denver taproom will begin brewing on-premises.

The Dewey Beer Colorado Taproom will be open daily and feature food trucks and events regularly. A soft opening is slated for Thursday, Jan. 25.

Founders/owners Scot Kaufman, Mike Reilly, and Brandon Smith will hold a grand opening party on Feb. 24th. News and updates are available on Dewey Beer Company’s social media platforms at Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter).

Dewey Beer Company’s has two locations in Delaware, the flagship brewpub and restaurant in Dewey Beach and the production facility and taproom in Harbeson. The original brewpub opened in 2015 and the larger production brewery opened in 2021, giving Dewey Beer the ability to brew up to 12,000 barrels a year, with the capacity to expand up to 25,000 in the future, owners stated.
