A fire damaged Sussex County Emergency Medical Services Paramedic vehicles and a carport in Milton early Monday evening.
A Milton Fire Department crew arrived and found a vehicle and carport on fire. Other fire companies assisted.
State Fire Marshal’s Office investigators traced the fire to the rear of a parked vehicle due to an unknown electrical malfunction. Damage was estimated at $100,000.
A Sussex County Paramedic was treated and released at an area hospital after attempting to extinguish the fire and moving another vehicle. There were no other reported injuries.
