Delaware State Police arrested 57-year-old Michael Switzer of Millsboro in connection with the theft of cigarette cartons.
On Tuesday, a trooper was called to a Wawa at 24930 John J. Williams Highway in Millsboro, for a theft complaint.
Witness interviews and a review of video surveillance revealed that a store employee had been stealing cartons of cigarettes valued at approximately $10,800 since June and then reselling them to unknown people.
The trooper met Switzer at the store and took him into custody without incident.
Switzer was transported to Troop 7 and charged with one count of felony theft.
