According to a Centers for Disease Control dashboard, Sussex County moved out of the red zone for Covid-19 transmission.

The CDC widget below shows New Castle and Kent counties in the red zone, the highest designation of spread.  The widget below lists green, amber, and red zones, with Sussex now in the amber category.

All three counties had been in the green zone but were affected by an outbreak of a fast-growing variant of Covid-19 that affected even fully immunized individuals, although those cases tended to be mild.

The Wednesday Covid-19 report from the Delaware Division showed hospitalizations down slightly from their peak.
