UK’s Kennedys law firm opens Wilmington office

Kennedys, a UK-based law firm, has opened an office in Wilmington.

The office is the eighth in the US and the 43rd globally.

Joining the firm is Marc Casarino, a commercial litigator, formerly of White and Williams, where he managed a commercial litigation practice.

Casarino has experience in insurance coverage litigation, corporate governance, fiduciary obligations, director and officer disputes, stockholder rights, partnership conflicts, internal investigations, securities claims, bankruptcies, breach of contracts, and employer liability.

He has first-chair trial experience before all of the Delaware state and federal courts and has also handled appeals to the Delaware Supreme Court and Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Casarino said: “I am delighted to join Kennedys at such an exciting time. I already know the caliber of my new colleagues, having worked as Delaware counsel for many of them previously. Being able to access that bank of talent and the global resources of Kennedys will be invaluable.”

Kennedys have seven other offices across the US, the second newest in San Francisco. The firm also has offices in Austin, Basking Ridge, Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia, and New York.

Outside the US, the firm opened new offices in LeedsOmanTel Aviv and Perth and moved into new office space in Hong KongManchester and Madrid.
