After skipping a weekend in Delaware to attend the White House Correspondents Dinner, President Joe Biden is back at his home near Greenville.

Airspace restrictions are in place in the area into Monday.

Biden arrived at the National Guard Base at Wilmington Airport (formerly New Castle) on Friday evening. The president spends most weekends outside the White House.

Biden spent part of the week on the campaign trail and made a brief stop on Tuesday to attend a campaign town hall event at A.I. duPont High School in Greenville. Biden was also in Charlotte and Wilmington, NC later in the week.

On Friday, he presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom to 19 people, including athletes and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Biden’s visits to Delaware rarely feature public events and provide a modest boost to the economy from traveling aides, the media, and others.
