A winter storm on Sunday night and into Monday is expected to bring high winds to a large section of Delaware and the chance of snow to the north.

Accumulating snow and sleet is expected along and northwest of I-95 Sunday night and overnight before a change to rain, with total amounts ranging from roughly one to four inches, the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ reported.

Northern Delaware could see a chance of snow, mainly after 4 p.m. Sunday. An accumulation of less than half an inch is possible. Chances of snow are less than 50%.

Central and southern Delaware are likely to see high winds and rain, with the greatest threat for damaging winds in coastal and coastal plain areas.
