Aloysius Butler & Clark, Wilmington, announced that the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority has awarded the agency a three-year marketing creative and media services contract.

AB&C’s work will focus on promoting the island’s wide variety of offerings and motivating an increase in first-time and repeat visits from individuals and families around the region and beyond.

“Our team is excited to dive into this campaign—not only is it incredibly stimulating creatively, but for many of us, the Wildwoods hold a special place in our hearts,” said Paul Pomeroy, president, AB&C. “We’ve been taking our family to these beaches for years, and some of us spent our own childhoods there. We see this as a fantastic opportunity to marry the unique perspectives we have from our personal experiences with the top-level creative execution and strategic planning that defines our agency.”

AB&C has experience in creating and implementing campaigns for a number of tourism projects that include Mystic, CT; Block Island, RI, and Delaware’s DART beach bus system.

“AB&C’s creative capabilities, pertinent experience in tourism and sincere passion they demonstrated not only for their profession, but for the Wildwoods, was impressive and checked off all of the boxes of our RFP,” said Ben Rose, director of marketing and public relations, the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority. “After meeting with them we had no doubt that they were capable of developing marketing strategies and creative campaigns that will be engaging and effective in driving new visitors to the Wildwoods. ” .
