Estate lawyer Nenno joins Young Conaway

Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP announced that Richard W. Nenno, will be joining the firm as Senior Counsel in the Business Planning and Tax Section on October 18.

Nenno comes to Young Conaway with over 40 years of estate-planning experience and is a Distinguished Accredited Estate Planner. Prior to joining the firm,  Nenno served as senior trust counsel and managing director in Wealth Management at Wilmington Trust Company.

[Not a valid template]Nenno is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and the American Bar Foundation. He also is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning and the Bloomberg BNA Estates, Gifts, and Trusts Advisory Board.

Nenno earned his J.D. degree from Harvard Law School. He is a cum laude graduate of Princeton University with an A.B. degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He is admitted to practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Murphy named director at Richards, Layton & Finger

Richards, Layton & Finger announced that  Matthew W. Murphy has been elected as a director of the firm.

Murphy focuses his practice on litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery involving fiduciary duties, corporate governance and control, contractual issues, and other commercial disputes.

Matt earned a JD, summa cum laude, from Widener University School of Law and a BA from St. Joseph’s University.  He clerked for Paul R. Wallace in  Delaware Superior Court. 

 K&L Gates LLP 

Global law firm K&L Gates LLP has added Adam V. Orlacchio as a partner in the litigation and dispute resolution practice. He joins the firm’s Wilmington office from Blank Rome LLP. 

Orlacchio advises clients on a wide range of complex commercial, corporate, and employment litigation matters and business issues.

He counsels clients from pre-litigation through resolution in both state and federal courts throughout the U.S. 

Orlacchio previously served as the Chair of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Litigation Section and recently completed his second term as a member of the Executive Committee of the Delaware State Bar Association. 

Ramsey named to Best Lawyers list

Natalie D. Ramsey, from Robinson+Cole’s Delaware office, was selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America  2022 in the areas of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law and Litigation-Bankruptcy. 

Ramsey, a Regent of the American College of Bankruptcy, has practiced in the areas of bankruptcy and corporate reorganizations for more than three decades. She is co-chair of Robinson+Cole’s Bankruptcy + Reorganization Practice Group and the partner in charge of its Wilmington and Philadelphia offices. 

Weber Gallagher today announced the election of three new partners. Among those named was Kristen S. Swift.  provides insurance coverage opinions, appellate assistance, and litigates in all Delaware courts in myriad areas of the law including employment, civil rights, insurance, subrogation, contract disputes, construction, general liability, malpractice, and bankruptcy.
