Six deaths were reported by the Delaware Division of Public Health based on a review of death records from May, July, and August.
 
Five of the deaths came from New Castle County residents, with one from Kent County. They ranged in age from their 40s to their 80s. One was a resident of a long-term care facility.
 
All six individuals were not vaccinated. Their deaths increased Delaware’s total number of COVID-related deaths to 1,900.
 
The other numbers:
 
• 351 new positive cases, bringing the overall total to 123,308. 
• 8.5% of total tests were positive in the seven-day rolling average. up six-tenths of a percent from the previous day.
• 251 hospitalizations, up 21 from the previous day,  including 42 individuals in critical condition.
• 19 new hospital admissions, up six from the previous day.
• 504,791 Delawareans fully vaccinated, up 1,041 from the previous day.
• 1,131,863 total vaccine doses administered,  up 1,851 from the previous day.
