The release of guidance on Delaware’s Phase 1 openings led to some confusion regarding types of businesses that will reopen on June 1.
The guide below allows for the reopening of bars, restaurants, malls, retail stores, barber, and beauty shops.
Hotels will not be able to offer rooms to leisure travelers, although business travelers can be booked No such restriction exists in portions of Maryland.
General restrictions include operating at a maximum 30 percent of fire code capacity, reservations only for sit-down restaurants, and an end to bar seating at restaurants and taverns.
Still not allowed to operate are tattoo and massage parlors, facial spas and other businesses that require close contact.
