Citizens Financial Services, Inc., the holding company for First Citizens Community Bank announced completed its acquisition of MidCoast Community Bancorp, Inc., Wilmington, the holding company for MidCoast Community Bank.
Citizens is the surviving institution in the cash and stock deal. MidCoast has three branches in Dover, west of Wilmington and north Wilmington.
Citizens Financial Services, Inc. is the bank holding company for First Citizens Community Bank, a Pennsylvania-chartered commercial bank. FCCB operates 31 full-service branch offices in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York.
