Arrests have been made and eight new police vehicles stolen from a Milford dealership.
On Tuesday, the Milford Police Department was called to investigate a burglary at IG Burton, located on North Rehoboth Blvd.
It was determined that eight new vehicles were stolen from the dealership. Details on how the vehicles were taken were not disclosed.
The vehicles included 5-2019 Police Model Dodge Chargers with no emergency equipment, two 2019 Dodge Durango SUVs, and a Dodge RAM 2500 Quad Cab.
Leads on the thefts led to the Dover area.
A break in the case came Tuesday afternoon when officers found a 2019 black Dodge Charger with three occupants in the downtown area. The occupants fled the area but were later found.
On Tuesday night, officers saw a stolen Dodge Durango in the Camden area and attempted to stop the vehicle. The occupants fled and not initially found.
