Construction loan from Dover-based NCALL helps make Delmar Public Library a library

A loan from Dover-based NCALL was a key part of the financial package for the Delmar Public Library,

In 2015, NCALL Loan Fund provided the library a construction line of credit loan for $3.5 million. The NCALL Loan Fund finances projects for the development of affordable housing, community facilities, and neighborhood revitalization. Joining the loan fund in the construction financing were participant lenders The Bank of Delmarva and M&T Bank.

NCALL Loan Fund Director, Karen Kollias, said the new library is a  great addition for the community. “We were happy to work with the library and assist with funding for the project,” she said. “It’s a beautiful, welcoming building, and a great place for people of all ages to learn, read and explore.”
